Bilingual Office Assistant

We are looking for a highly energetic and motivated person to assist with the daily activities of our school. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, collaborative, and a self-starter with a demonstrated history of administrative experience, client and public relations, and project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 1-2 years administrative office experience OR High School Diploma with at least 5 years administrative office experience
  • Strong writing and computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Attention to detail and consistent focus on quality
  • Strong command of social media and the ability to post relevant and engaging content
  • Professional appearance
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English

Preferred:

  • Marketing and sales skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working with international students preferred

Experienced ESL Instructors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university;
  • Experience teaching in a business/corporate environment a plus;
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certification;
  • At least one year of teaching experience, specifically with adult learners;
  • Excellent communication skills that include public speaking and web-based communication tools;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Working knowledge of a variety of teaching methodologies;
  • Knowledge of communicative and audio-lingo methods are a plus;
  • A well-groomed professional appearance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Create lessons plan, assignments, and outlines;
  • Conduct lectures and maintain a classroom environment that will empower students and ensure successful learning experiences;
  • Maintain necessary communication and provide feedback to students;
  • Demonstrate good classroom management ability;
  • Assess and evaluate student progress throughout the duration of the course;
  • Ensure timely assignment completion;
  • Other duties as assigned.
