ESL Instructor
Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to commute and work in-person
Part-Time
  • Mn - Fr: 9:30 pm – 1:30 pm
  • Mn - Thurs: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
  • No weekends
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution and a TESOL/CELTA Certificate with a teaching practicum OR three months full time teaching to adult learners;
  • Excellent communication skills that include public speaking and web-based communication tools;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Working knowledge of a variety of teaching methodologies;
  • Experience teaching in a business/corporate environment a plus;
  • Knowledge of communicative and audio-lingo methods are a plus;
  • A well-groomed professional appearance and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
  • Create lessons plan, assignments, and outlines;
  • Conduct lectures and maintain a classroom environment that will empower students and ensure successful learning experiences;
  • Maintain necessary communication and provide feedback to students;
  • Demonstrate good classroom management ability;
  • Assess and evaluate student progress throughout the duration of the course;
  • Ensure timely assignment completion;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer literacy (Google Suite)
  • Strong reading and writing skills
